Description
New replacement laser lens for Nintendo GameCube. Compatible with both DOL-001 and 101 models and their respective revisions.
Installation Note: Make sure the potentiometer on the DVD circuit board is giving an Ohm reading within the expected range. A common repair (rather, a short term fix) for GameCubes is to increase the voltage to the laser to strengthen it. Putting a new laser lens in at an increased voltage can damage the new lens.
The DOL-101 model should run in the range of 150 to 250 Ohms while the DOL-001 model should read 450 to 600 Ohms.
