What can I expect from a “used” game console part or accessory?

Many of the consoles, parts, and accessories we work with are decades old. When we receive used hardware, every item is thoroughly inspected inside and out for functionality, durability, and overall condition.

If we find issues, they’re addressed before the item is ever listed. Functional problems are repaired and retested, and physical components are cleaned and restored as much as possible. Each item is fully disassembled, cleaned, and carefully reassembled.

That said, not all cosmetic blemishes can be removed. You should expect used items to show minor scuffs or signs of normal wear consistent with age.

Only items that meet our quality standards are listed on our website. Hardware that falls short is sold separately through our outlet channels at a significant discount.

 


 

Is the item pictured the exact one I’ll receive?

In most cases, no.

We stock multiple units of many products and use our own stock photos to represent them. The item you receive will be of equal quality and condition to the one shown, and it will meet the same inspection and testing standards.

If an item is truly one-of-a-kind, that will be clearly noted in the listing.

 


 

Are your parts original, OEM, or reproductions?

We sell a mix of original, OEM, reproduction, and third-party parts, and we label them clearly.

When a part is original or OEM, we say so. When it’s a reproduction or third-party replacement, we’re upfront about that too. Our goal is to give you the information you need to make an informed decision—no guessing required.
