CR2032 3V Battery
CR2032 batteries typically last 5–15 years, depending on usage and storage conditions. Given the age of the GameCube, the original battery should be replaced.
This kit includes a new 3v CR2032 lithium coin cell. Install the battery holder first, then insert the new battery after soldering is
20MM Coin Cell Battery Holder
Nobody wants to break out a soldering iron just to replace a battery. This kit includes a 20 mm coin-cell battery holder, making future battery swaps quick and solder-free.
The holder is compatible with CR2032 coin cells. When installing, ensure the positive side (marked “+”) faces toward the LED, as shown in the diagram.
3MM Color LED
Swapping the stock power LED for a color of your choice is an easy way to customize your GameCube.
Install the new LED with the longer lead (positive / anode) facing toward the battery, as shown in the diagram.
If you plan to reuse the original LED, mark the positive side with a permanent marker before removal to make re-installation easier and ensure correct orientation.
